The dictionary definition of flaneur is loafer or vagabond. I ascribe to the notion of flaneur as a wanderer and observer. Long walks on the beach are not for me, however, if the invitation is an evening stroll over the Burrard Bridge to downtown Vancouver, then I'm in. I find my flaneur site makes me question the changes that are constantly evolving the landscape of Vancouver.

Building a Brick Barbeque
I finally assembled my bricks, bought some cement from Re-store, and found the perfect 3/4 fit to hold my racks. For a while it looked like a bombed out Afghani village - but with a final coating of cement we enjoyed a backyard pizza.

Camping at Coqilhalla Campgrounds in Hope
My first camping trip in a few years.
Bill, Dianne, Pasquale and Veronica in their freshly painted Boler.
I had the sleep of my life in my tent.
Brenda and family preferred to stay the night at The Alpine Motel in heated comfort.
