I toast all the ingredients in a dry cast iron pan.
I use a coffee grinder exclusively for spices.
Whiz the cooled down spice mixture and inhale the aroma.

ReplyDeleteOur last WWOOFER used my spices-only coffee grinder for coffee recently. I'd completely forgotten to tell her as we don't drink coffee here in the house. She couldn't understand why the coffee was burning her throat! (not to mention all the other un-coffee-like flavours!)
